At my local library, a little girl dropped her library books into the ‘return’ slot, waved and shouted “GOODBYE BOOKS, HAVE A GOOD DAY AT SCHOOL!” and my heart grew three sizes 🥺
Got 1 achievement left on StanleyParable....
Play it for the entirety of a Tuesday. I have it open and sitting- i'll be working in the meantime, so let's see what happens.
Tried my hand at dollar store protein pancakes this morning. Wasn't till the last batch that I realized I could add shredded chocolate to the mix.
Neighbor keeps accusing me of calling the govt on him.
Last thing I need is more drama.
Probably gonna have to move again.
Just a reminder that we're 10 years behind on our Metro2033 plotline:::
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metro_2033_(video_game)#Setting
Metro 2033 takes place in the city of Moscow, Russia 20 years after a global nuclear holocaust in 2013. Moscow has become a wasteland filled with killer mutants and irradiated air and is uninhabitable for humans without protective gear. The surviving population now lives in the Moscow Metro, which is described as a labyrinth of railways, tunnels, and bunkers.

The more I read about Ultima Online, the more I'm aware of something simply missing from modern MMORPGs.
Roleplay. It's even in the name.
In modern MMORPGs, you're an outright alien if you actually roleplayed your cleric/rogue/knight/mage, making up a bacckstory, acting in character when interacting, making choices when stealing prey or helping. But UO had a culture of staying in-character, and making guilds which stood for something other than "let's kill some bosses".
Ultima Online really let you have freedom as a player rather than forcing you on a tour ride to grind specific mobs, then grind some more, with everything else being treated as a monetary sideshow to make more gold. Grinding can absolutely be fun just by itself, provided the combat is good, but basing your entire game upon grinding just to grind more, rather than as a way to explore and benefit from more of what the game offers, is not.

>> Spouts independence from mainstream media "they brainwash you"
>> Tells people that x stereotype group is really bad "go kill yourself"
>> Cites mainstream media as source material for stereotype
