"RHEL customers will have to decide what they want to do. I am sure that IBM and Red Hat hope that their customers will see the value of RHEL" ()

@lupyuen Not that the ocean needs help with heating up..
But I would definitely have several ecological concerns with floating panels:

Panels are typically black or grayish (im partially color blind Just know is darker), which means they would get hot in the sun, and the ocean water acting as a giant heat sink, will absorb the generated heat.

Also, if the groupings are large enough, it can block much-needed light from plants in more shallow arenas

last concern is with blocking aquatic mamals from resurfacing possibly

@oblate Yep is smaller and simpler than Zephyr, lemme know if you have questions :-)

@lupyuen I like #FreeRTOS for its simplicity. It's readily available. #Zephyr was too complex for my liking. RIOT is a bit of a free-for-all, and you need to do a lot of digging. I might give Nuttx a go, it looks interesting.

@oblate @lupyuen

#freertos is really easy to setup, even for a hobby project! I got it running on an STM32 without much pain.

@paoloredaelli @lupyuen I was under the impression that all US carriers shutdown 2g services but I noticed a few days ago my phone had an EDGE connection, which I believe is 2g. I use a T-Mobile MVNO. We previously used AT&T MVNO's but our 4G devices stopped working and we constantly got messages nagging us to purchase new devices, so we switched to using T-Mobiles network.

@lupyuen
Paxo Phone (#ESP32) is a wonderful achievement for a 16 years old dude. Yet according to comments on hackaday.com/2023/08/03/open-s it's modem is "only" 2G which is being phased out in many countries. Ditto for 3G (in Australia)
