Just realised I haven't posted any #auroraaustralis shots on my timeline yet.Time to put this to rights. If you get to know me you will realise I'm a bit of a keen aurora chaser. Here's a shot I took during the display which occurred on 23rd October. The lights were certainly dancing over the still waters Hoopers Inlet that night, making for some magnificent reflections. #NewZealand #Aurora

Friend called ambulance after fall. None free. Paramedics came, said he needed hospital, ordered him a taxi to King's. He found A&E ... EMPTY. No staff. Told to return at start of next shift, 6AM.

NHS on knees after 12 Tory years. General election now.

You have to remember that these videos have to be stored on the server that you're hosted on.

This would also eat up on available bandwidth, storage and memory resources of said servers and slow them down. Which would force server hosts to upgrade at a substantial cost.

Es ist ein loser Überbegriff in dem die drei unabhängigen Moosstämme der Horn-, Leber- und Laubmoose zusammengefasst werden. Die kleinste Gruppe von ihnen sind die #Hornmoose (#Anthocerotophyta) mit nur 6 Arten in Deutschland. Sie besitzen einen Thallus aus dem hornartige Sporenträger wachsen. This is Ava. I'm on sabbatical this semester, working on my book, and she has made it her job to supervise me. Every morning when I tell her it's time to go work, she delighted runs upstairs and lies down on the bed next to my little writing desk, where she alternates between napping and listening attentively to what I've written. So far she's only given me a few judgmental head tilts, so I think we're making good progress. 😅

My research group studies #ciliated marine larvae from a whole-organism perspective, combining behaviour, #connectomics, #imaging, #CRISPR, #modelling and other approaches. We love marine #larvae, their #neurons, #cilia, and #neuropeptides.
