This worries me. Am I the only one that thinks the Russian government is saner, more responsible, than our leadership in the collective West?
I truly, hope that the following report is false, bc if true, this sets a new precedent in modern warfare.

“The Russian Defence Ministry has reported that on 31 July, Russian servicemen performing tasks in region were taken to a military hospital with signs of poisoning.

As a result of an examination, a toxic substance, botulinum toxin type B, was found in the servicemen's body.

On the fact of chemical terrorism backed by the Zelensky regime, the Russian Federation is preparing supporting documents with the results of all the analyses.

An additional investigation is also being conducted into the poisoning with military poisoning agents of the head of Kherson Region's interim administration.

Does anyone know of a Docker app that can RECEIVE emails, which I could use for an example of how it can be done?

Malicious packages turn into password-stealing

A dozen malicious PyPi packages have been discovered installing malware that modifies the Discord client to become an information-sealing backdoor and stealing data from web browsers and Roblox.

FYI It still stands that the USA is the only country to use nuclear weapons in war. The fear is that they think they can use tactical nuclear weapons without much fear to the environment, which obviously is NUTS!

I did one of these recently, for old time's sake. An old customer sent in an X200 for servicing, and upgrades.

I replaced the onboard 8MB SPI flash with 16MB (Winbond W25Q128FVSIG). This allows you to easily put a full linux kernel with initramfs in the flash, if you wanted to.

Sexy little plane. Difficult to see here but it had a sexy black and gold paint job. A little unusual to see one with an underwing in this fast back style. At least in my experience.😎

I agree—If science says a young person's brain is still developing in their 20s, then such decisions should never be made whilst a teen! Common sense IMHO.

“Canadian health care faces similar issues around treating transgender teenagers as a controversial British clinic and needs to “slow down” and not move patients so readily to medical transition, says a leading expert in the field.”

In addition to recent price cuts, today I further decreed: the warranty for all laptops sold is now 5 years, instead of 3. Warranties extended +2 years for people whose 3-year warranty were still valid today.

The laptops come with coreboot, which replaces proprietary BIOS/UEFI, and Debian Linux as the default operating system.

I sell coreboot, and coreboot accessories. minifree.org/

“Amnesty’s apology suggests such pressure campaigns have an effect and will lead to increased self-censorship – in a situation where the evidence already indicates that there is a great deal of self-censorship, as Rovera pointed out.

The apology betrays the civilians who have been, and will be, used as human shields – putting them in lethal danger – over the coming months and potentially years of fighting. It means Ukrainian forces will feel even less pressure to rein in behaviour that amounts to a war crime.

Amnesty would never apologise to Russian partisans offended by a report on Russian war crimes. Its current apology indicates to the victims of Ukrainian human rights abuses that they are less worthy than the victims of Russian abuses.”

Today, cycling and came upon a herd (right word?) of geese relaxing in the shade. As soon as I pulled out my phone to take a picture, they launched into the water.
