A tip for anyone trying to convert from MS Word format to #latex using #pandoc. To get source code blocks to convert to verbatim environments in latex, create a style called "Source Code" and apply this to your source code in Word. Make sure to use (manual) line breaks rather than paragraph breaks within the code block.
