The next front for #mastodon to reach out to is social media management platforms like HootSuite and SproutSocial and even Meltwater.

Need to get seamlessly into the tools that social media managers use to post across platforms.

Two years ago, the FBI made an arrest after a serious threat was made against my family on Twitter. I no longer believe Twitter would assist an investigation if that occurred again.

Few weeks ago I sent #Twitter a request to remove my DMs from the service, with the help of this great blog post by @mikarv (https://michae.lv/deleting-dms-from-twitter/). EU #GDPR law requires them to react to my request in one month, and today I received their response: they didn't remove my DMs, but told me to remove my whole account instead.

As they closed the report after their response, I can't respond to them any more.

When the sale of Qwitter went through I was looking at a bunch of different alternatives but quickly decided Mastodon was the one for me. I like and respect the community here, and the bedrock it's built on is so much better too. i have been haunted by this account on twitter since musk takeover and i found it suspicious from the moment i saw it. i imagine others are looking into this woman's claims and how she is connected to Musk.

One feature I will miss from Twitter is the willingness of people to list impressive credentials in their bios while demonstrating that they lack even a passing understanding of areas fundamental to their field.
