UK hardcovers are now back to full price, not $5 each. But they're still selling Kindle versions for less than they'll pay me for them. If you buy a hardcover in the US, getting the book costs them $15 more than they're charging you.

I remember seeing something about this earlier. (or maybe a similar indecent, I'm sure it happens more then I realize)

But reading this made my heart sink. Or maybe it was just a realization that clicked for me now, that for some reason hadn't clicked for me earlier. And might also be a good example of what is preventing back people form joining. (and what needs to be reflected on)

What happened to her has an effect on what you (and others) feel comfortable posting here.

Even if someone ends up on a "good" instance. The racism and harassment seen on other instances, and the actions of moderators on other instance, is going to effect on how comfortable/safe POC are interacting in this space.

Paxton has two felony indictments for securities fraud.

Have a friend who now lives in Colorado, used to be in TX. His daughter suffers from life-threatening epilepsy, and the ONLY cure has been cannabis. Guess what their state representative in TX said to them when they were lobbying for medical cannabis?

"We don't need your kind here. I'll gladly drive you to Colorado myself."

State rep was GOP, of course.
