And sure, these media orgs are now between a rock and a hard place, having to potentially leave their presence there built over a decade. But they put themselves there, by promoting walled gardens for a decade.

They have some reckoning and introspection to do.

Everything about the Central Park jogger case was a travesty. Not only did sloppy police and prosecutorial work send five kids go to prison for a crime they didn't commit, but in closing the case, the actual assailant remained free to commit several more rapes and assaults.

Well, this is an interesting development. All Mastodon links apparently flagged as a threat on Twitter.

I’m enjoying Mastodon more than Twitter.
