I'm constantly surprised at the number of people who are looking for lists of people to follow. There's no shortage of fascinating breadcrumb trails here.
Pick a toot that resonates with you and open it up. See who commented, or retooted it. Look at those people's profiles. Follow them.
Look at their older toots and follow the people whose comments on those toots pique your interest.
I've been here a month & have a global circle, not one of whom I knew before coming here. #IFollowTheCrumbs

3 years ago, I started a local online-course collective. Together, we select a coursera or EDx, etc. course, and we meet in-person (ideally) regularly. We've covered topics ranging from machine learning to Shakespeare. I'd like to offer tips, and maybe a platform, for replicating this in other cities. I was excited to see @hrheingold 's post about advice setting up a #wordpress site for course collaboration -- slightly different, but with the same spirit.

Why is walking so good for us? A few reasons, says cardiologist Chad Raymond. Those same endorphins that make you feel great after exercising also open up your blood vessels and help create new blood vessels.
“Regular exercise reduces blood pressure five to eight points, like BP medicines do.” Exercise also improves the ability of skeletal muscle ability to extract oxygen from the blood, he adds. And it helps improve lung function, which in turn helps the heart. #walking
