Yeah king cobras are very smart compared to other snakes and also they are very exceptional. they build nests with dry leafs to lay eggs and the mother remains with her young ones for a considerable time.

@mur2501 catching pythons is very very easy unless you encounter these from Tsavo
You would rather run

The big four
The snakes which cause most of the medically significant cases and deaths due to snake bites in India are
[Images in the order]
1. Common Krait
2. Russell's Viper
3. Indian Saw-Scaled Viper
4. Indian Cobra (Spectacled Cobra)

The reason being that all four easily make homes near human settlements and they are grumpy & aggressive. King Cobra also easily sneaks in human settlements but they rarely get aggressive.

In India,

The biggest nonvenomous snakes are the reticulated python (adult goes 6 metre long and weigh 70Kg)

The longest and also the most poisonous venomous snake is the King Cobra (adult goes to 6 metres)
Though they are shy compared to other cobras and just likes to keep away from humans

@trinsec
Apart from Anaconda and Reticulated Python other species don't really see humans(adult) as food so just letting them go away by themselves will be good.
also you wouldn't be having much of a chance to cut a big python with a pocket knife while it is coiling you.
Best strategy is to just don't let them coil up on you
@JonathanMBR

Meanwhile, in Delhi, testosterone capital of India 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

@trinsec
yeah the bite is very painful and opening it's mouth once it has took it's hold is a task that requires a couple of people. Anyway atleast you not gonna die of any venom or something.
@JonathanMBR

@trinsec
Their teeths have a very good grip if they bite. Their method is first bite and take hold of the prey then coil around it to suffocate it to death.
