I see many linux distros now support UEFI (even this little distro Solus does), for secure boot you can always change it. Windows can boot from UEFI or legacy.
Running on VM is not bad, but running on metal feels more real :coolcat:

@mur2501 Correct! Browsing a bit before clicking and after the click on the ad browse a bit on that website would be best😸 no suspicion haha

If you want to help #mstdn you can always click/tap once a day on any advertisement on MLBB.tv😸 In that case Google(and it’s publishers) will pay for the bills :blobcatgiggle:

Why don't you use linux as dual boot rather then using the VM ?

@calculsoberic@mstdn.social
Most of the security designs of an OS and most applications are oriented towards non-targetted threats or hackers where the hackers don't have any specific targets and they just use general hacking and doxing techniques to collect money or info of everyone who comes into their traps in general.
When the hacker has a target (which is your case) then the attacks and doxing strategies also become specific. The hacker collects your info first and then plans an attack on you. This also means that the hacker will collect the info about the security services you use and try to find holes in it.

Actual I want to port the interactive text shell of Temple OS (as well as also found in ETH Zurich Oberon OS) to the linux shell.

I think linux is more secure then windows. Though you can use the Tails distro or maybe use FreeBSD.

Don't listen to these bloody dumb heads, they are misleading you.
Just easily start with Slackware. other distros are big bulky and complicated.
