This #map shows the percentage of #female #researchers in Europe.
Germany, France and Netherlands have the lowest share of female researchers. It seems that they can learn from Albania, N. Macedonia and other Balkan nations how to reach "European standards".

This book is just an incredibly fascinating, absorbing thing! It's an alphabetical encyclopedia of various monster/ghost/demon myths (ancient to contemporary) from all over India. The monsters are really interesting and the illustrations are beautiful! thank you @blaftness

From the southern tip of mainland India you would have to swim for 4500 Km in the Indian Ocean to reach the equator ![]()

India is situated entirely north of the Equator, it's winter here too. The current temperature of my town is 18°C (it's night here), most low it can go 16°C that's the winter here.
Northern India is more cold, the national capital Delhi is at 5°C, while the glaciers of Kashmir are at -30°C ![]()

Western Ghats are a 1600 Km long mountain chain so span through many states here. I live in the state of Maharashtra, you go south from here then comes the state of Goa, then the state of Karnataka and atlast Kerala remain at the bottom of India.
By the way states in India are created on the basis of language mostly so all states speak different languages.
