I use Firefox cause I am daily using it's addons

@freemo
The US version has skins of guns instead of dresses of the queen

@freemo
Probably I would work on a project related to free and open education. One thing I notice is that most of the books and resources aren't available in native languages for Africans, Indians, and all other people from under developed nations.
Even though Indians know and speak English, it still remains a very foreign language which is hard to understand for all (I think the problem is the same with all the math textbooks, they are difficult to understand due to them using too much math terms and useless technical language)

@freemo
Yes free education is my moto
But countries like India education is very turd
Just money eating business
I like all subjects I think from knowing about the Mountains of India to tracking down the development of computer in 1950s USA.
Currently I want to get into a real computer science project as I have never until now experienced any

@calculsoberic@mstdn.social
which system?

@GNUxeava @mattheus @strawberryfieldsforever
Ahh no I don't really have the urge to have everything in my repo. I can build all the essential things myself. I was saying this cause Solus is a very good linux for new comers from Windows but having a limited repo could be a big hurdle for them.

@tombies@social.tchncs.de @dufthummel @kranfahrer @strawberryfieldsforever
Show me Lenny and cookie

@GNUxeava @mattheus @strawberryfieldsforever
Yes I now build everything from source (Even though the package maybe available from Snap or Flatpak). Though building from source in Solus is also a pain in the ass and needs alot of bug fixing. I find Solus a very good beginner friendly Linux but the package repo tells another story.

@mattheus @strawberryfieldsforever
Yes this is the biggest downside to Solus, scarcity of packages in it's repo

@strawberryfieldsforever
It is developed from scratch so it's packages are seperately build, they are not compatible with any other distros.

@tombies@social.tchncs.de @kranfahrer @strawberryfieldsforever

@kranfahrer @strawberryfieldsforever @tombies@social.tchncs.de
