We have kind of basic stuffs or overview of this in 4th or 5th semester (currently I am in 2nd sem) but real cmos (microprocessor) designing is an indepth requiring expert knowledge and experience with both computer/software engineering as well as and more importantly Electrical/Electronics Engineering as practically making feasible design of an IC isn't just about knowing the software logical side we also have to understand the electrical limitations and various effects which hinder the design.

I have learned computer science, geography, history, etc on my own since years, doesn't matters college gives courses or not, I am independent when it comes to learning I like it that way as Indian education system is in crumbles.

Currently I am trying to learn semiconductors and IC designing

Very very sad to hear about this,
Lluvia is rain and rain never stays forever. rain shall go to the oceans above untouched skies. Though the few several days it rains, brings the undreamable cover of green lucid happiness turning the dry grounds to lively. The smell it spreads in our lives, an unforgivable time, even though the season of rain has past we shall wait to get wet in the nostalgic dribbles of her memories.
For Lluvia ❤️💙💚

Nah I am doing Computer Engineering (this is not related to my course that's why used the term learning and not studying).
For the matter of college course, today was my Engineering Drawing exam and ofcourse this subject has hardly anything to do with Computer Engineering (first year engineering is common to all branches so I study mechanics, chemistry, etc stuffs which has nothing to do with comouter engineering).
Also formal education never matters, I will bring you stupid software engineering degree holders who don't know how to code (half of the engineers in India are jobless coz of the useless system of education as well as people giving too much fucks about degress and certificates.

by the way currently I am learning and exploring semiconductors, microprocessor designing and fabrication, driver and kernel developmemt, etc.
