@kranfahrer
Take care about the High blood pressure, my dad and mom also have that :blobfoxworried:

I really wanna know what is the work culture in Germany, what do you think about work? what do your employer thinks about his employees? Why is Germany very perfectionist and workaholic?

@kranfahrer
I think the British tea time is usually between 4 PM to 6 PM basically at the end of afternoon and start of night.
Yeah siestas used to be very common in and around Mumbai but the modern work culture has ousted it.

Nah my work starts at 3PM today.

So what are you doing currently?
Do German sleep in afternoon?
what time Germans drink tea?

@kranfahrer
Well stucked up in internship and getting bombarded by professors that is life.
It's 1 PM here that do is afternoon, I drank coffee at 10AM (yes I drink coffee in morning, other Indians drink tea). For afternoon tea, I don't think Indians do that. It's morning tea then it's evening tea just like the Brits. Afternoon, thanks to Portuguese rule, happens to be siesta hours. Many Indians sleep in afternoon hours. Maybe that's also why they find the evening tea refrshing.

@kranfahrer
moin moin krany
'many work for you' is that a German greeting?

Okay my professor wants the full implementation of the project before even the next semester starts

@thor
could be, but I also read it in High school just after reading Anna Karenina and World & Peace by Tolstoy. I think I liked it cause the language was much more easy to digest than that of Tolstoy :ablobglarezoom:

@thor
So what other authors you have read apart from Stephen King?

@thor
That's also what Leo Tolstoy said :cate:
After writing 1200 pages of War & Peace :welp:

I never joined Twitter or really posted on Facebook. I'm somewhat of a private person, not wanting to expose myself to too much online. But Mastodon reminds me of "old internet" by being a bit clunky and complicated to use, which I hope selects for the people that I tend like.

I used to work as a software engineer in Silicon Valley, but moved back to Europe and wanted to do something different. Currently I'm studying physics and math, hoping to complete a master's degree by 2024.

I'm here looking for insightful or helpful interactions around topics
of , and . I'm also looking for a place to toot my horn a little about personal projects and things I've learned, since many of my interests are too esoteric for my real-life friends.

@Chris_Swan
Just like everyday, Christmas not a thing here in my place

@trinsec @freemo
This is reminding me of the post @thor made this morning about true friends :blobfoxsignbaka:
