Thanks to the climate crisis there's no snow in December. But thick fog created cool, glittery light at noon that looked almost seasonal. #photography #landscapephotography #mastoart
It wasn't just something random that happened, everything had satisfactory explanation, and all the feelings felt so real too. So yeah after a lot of convincing (from myself only) I finally accepted that it must've been an old dream that I had as a kid.
I did get a sequel dream 8 years later once. I forgot about the original one obviously. Then I have this dream that has references to a past event, but this dream was set in real world with people I know from real world. All the places were those that I frequent very often. So I was initially confused if those events that were being referenced to in my dream were real or not. I spent a lot of time going over the reasons why they couldn't have happened in real life. But they felt so real!
And this is when my phone rang and I woke up. Stupid alarms and stupid ultra saver mode that didn't let the phone die even after I left it 1% last night!!!!
Now I'm left in suspense! Did we make it to the village safely? Did aladdin give us his flying carpet to reach there? Did we die? No fucking idea!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know when I'll see the full dream now, it could be tonight, it could be 8 years later!
And there's this huge fancy theatre that is showing some movie which is a hybrid of Aladdin and Shireen-Khusrao story. Turns out that Lady is Persian, and that's why her husband hated her. Racial tensions. By now we can see all the boats in a nearby harbour being flung here and there by the disturbances in water, tsunami is still approaching, and we decide that the best course of action will be watching the movie because that's how we'll get our vehicle.
So I say, only one place is safe for us, my village that is on the mountain on opposite side of approaching tsunami, because Tsunamis height is less than my village's altitude. So we make our way towards it, we need a vehicle, right now a boat to make it out of city bounds since the streets have watered considerably. On our way we get to the main city square that some tycoon made recently and it disrupted the entire city economy. The tycoon was persian, like that from Sassanid period, not Iranian.
And since we're gonna die, he tells us that there's no real magic, it's just an ancient technique passed down to his family that basically uses magnetic fields to manipulate with gravitational field that gives this shield.
Then we leave the shop, and we can see the tsunami approaching but in super slow motion like it advances a millimetre in 5 minutes. And it's quite far but because it's tall we can see it. And there's boats and everything stuck in the tsunami and yeah people are dying.
Paper thin plastic covering that we put on our head and it just sticks. It has two depressions, red and blue. And he tells us it's ancient magic that makes an invisible shield around us that will protect us from any object hurling in our direction. But not if we hit something on our own initiative or water. So we still need to be saved from Tsunami. It's also worth mentioning that he gives Simp two paper things, one is useless and one is real stuff, but he keeps them both on his head.
So we 5 are trying to go to some safe place, which means an open area, so the nearest town square. We get there and rocks start falling from the sky. I also realise that the streets have started watering, which means a huge 2012 style tsunami is coming, but in super slow motion. Right now our priority is the rocks falling on heads though so we take shelter in a dilapidated shop, cause all the shops there are dilapidated and this one had a light on. There this super ancient dude gives us this
Just then an earthquake hits. A very high magnitude one, but it's japan and they have learnt their lesson from past so all the buildings are earthquake proof. But the streets start cracking and stuff. There's chaos, I'm trying to get myself and my distraught celebrity, that I'll just call Lady now, to safety. We meet Lady's friend who joins us in this adventure. He's apparently in love with her. I'll call her Simp. A friend of mine and her boyfriend that I'll call Sakura and Takashi.
Had a weird dream that I'm gonna write down here in case I forget.
So I'm a Japanese student, interning as some celebrities assistant. The celebrity's husband is a famous Tabla player that I quite like in real life, but he's an asshole in the dreamworld and is some movie actor I think. So some things happen that are fuzzy in my head, but he basically insults my celebrity in public, dumps her, and starts to leave while the crowd is jeering at her. It's quite brutal.
It's #caturday
Where are the cats??
How to stop the cat bothering you for breakfast when it's too early to feed him.... put the bird seed out first.
@mur2501 This is from last week. Since then the snow melted completely, but now we have even more snow again.

No, I am a man, these are mostly women I have been close with. Attached are pics of her trying to cuddle me.. she was a professional cuddler as you can see :)
@freemo @torresjrjr @mur2501 @funny @dogs to good! That's great you had such a great dog with great memories 😊 this is tiko! He's a 15 year old toy pom! Best dog I've ever had 😀
I had her from a fairly young age, I got her at 15/16 against my moms wishes (and had always wanted a dog growing up).. I literally went and got one the first week I had a license and a car to do so.. The story around that is a bit funny in its own right.
She lived 15 years, to an old pupperino, with sage wisdom and licks for all. But she was very near and dear to me, with all the emotional connection of a daughter, loosing her was like loosing any close relative and friend.
But yes, she passed after 15 years of smiles, this was soemthing like 7 or 8 years ago now, so the pain isnt as sharp, I just remember her with smiles and maybe a little water in my eyes but mostly happiness over having that time with her.
But yea its been 8 years and I still talk about her anytime I get the chance, I will be 100 years old and on my death bed and the nurse will tell me if i need anything and with my dying breaths I'll start with "Did I ever tell you about blue?"
It reminds me of the song Mr. Bojangles who also had a dog named Blue who died in his youth and for his whole life he would talk about Blue to everyone he met.
Here is the song along with a little spoken back story by Bromburg: https://youtu.be/50JBp71K5tw
"He spoke with tears of 15 years of how his dog and him traveled about. His dog up and died, ya know hsi dog up and died. After 20 years he still grieves." -- Mr. Bojangles
She was a character to say the least. How much attention she gave you was directly perportional to how new you were.. New people she insisted on hello cuddles for the whole time your over. She would eagerly await for the gues to sit somewhere and then nudge her nose under their leg or arm and force her way in for some cuddle time.
Also the more the new person seemed standoffish or even scared the harder she tried. If you had a fear of dogs or pitties she would put in twice the effort insisting she break you of your fear with endless cuddles :)
Some random attached pictures as evidence.
