Hello and good morning world! Last day of work this week and I overslept a bit..

This one slipped outside today and led us on a merry chase around the apartment complex and the back patios of our neighbors. Had her in our grasp several times, but she is slippery! (Literally. She has a very smooth coat.) She had a fantastic time.

We finally got her inside and she laid out flat, tuckered out. We were too. And my bare feet were itchy from a thousand tiny pine needle punctures. #mastocats

And now Paris wants to eradicate a big number of these.

Now pigeons aren't the target anymore but collared parakeets...

I discovered (10 years late, apparently) the XKCD color survey and the (honestly, unsurprising) scatological bent the Internet takes towards some greens and browns. Pretty amusing. Accidentally discovered this grepping for swear words before pushing code (I tend to use such words for debug variables on long nights.) "baby shit brown" #ad900d gave me a giggle.
There's also "piss yellow" #ddd618 and, strangely,
