This is so cool! Instead of using the traditional approach of targeting already existing amyloid beta plaques, these researchers developed antibodies against truncated forms of soluble amyloid beta, virtually opening the door towards creating a vaccine against 's disease. There's still a long way to go, as the results need to be replicated in humans, but it's one of the more promising approaches I've seen recently.

@freemo Hi! Yes and yes. It's the first time when I use this platform and I thought it would be a good way to connect with other people who are interested in science while also sharing my scicomm work.
