Recently, we experimented with a new social media account on #Mastodon. Now we've taken a few steps further. We run our own server open to all.
It's great to be on the #Fediverse with vivaldi.social

The Orion Launch Abort System (LAS) is designed to carry the crew to safety in the event of an emergency during launch or ascent.
The abort motor on Orion’s launch abort system generates 400,000 pounds of thrust in a matter of milliseconds to quickly propel the crew module away from danger in case of a launch failure.

@marathon0 I know. It's hilarious.
@marathon0 Yeah, there are very few people I trust in reporting. Glenn G is another one.
@HikerFromVA I don't even know what you do
@BigDogBo
@marathon0 2 of the very very few. I am a paid subscriber to Aaron. He is always smeared but never proved wrong.

World Population Angst
8 Billion People.
I just can’t wrap my head around that. I know, we’re trying to talk about how strong we are and how good we can be to each other, but I keep thinking of the #climatecrisis and #wealthgap and #biodiversityloss and yet we keep making more people. I want to be proud and strong but I think I’m mostly just worried.
@curiousgawker I think it started a while ago...
@jasonbrooks Exactly. Still a heart jump! I wouldn't mind some kind of color coding to indicate a DM.

It's funny. People made fun of the toot! button for years. Now it's gone and everyone is like, but I want toot back.
LMAO
@DeepGreenDesign I had a witty retort involving a root-kit to this, but thought I'd better not.
