@2ck Thank you, I'll have to get better at bash mostly I've done little Active Directory Powershell plurps. I have a gitlab but for the most part I've only been using it for a school notes back up. Do you have anywhere I can go to pull example license headers?

I'll have to look into some of the projects and see what's available/reported. The few bugs I've noticed I wouldn't have the slightest clue on troubleshooting.

Are there any languages you would recommend for the widest translation to multiple projects?

@design_RG I was a little confused on this, are we supposed to be able to log into peertube and that discourse with the same account? Or do we need to make separate ones?

@blueberry ah, I've had some issues with Windows needing a restart of the service or sometimes even a full reboot it gets wierd at times.

This started as a question but I've realized it is actually more of an ... #introduction

I'm locked into my current job for the next ten years approximately it has an interesting mix of System Admin (Mostly windows with some security aspects), Help Desk, and Networking.

With that being said I'm interested in contributing to #opensource and #foss projects as I tend to use them where I can.

Also, I'm hoping that this could help to build somewhat of a portfolio to align with my long term goal to prepare towards a #softwaredevelopment, #sysadmin, or #cybersecurity job in the future.

My hobbies usually bounce around the tech realm as I like to tinker and learn new things. If anyone has any recommendations on how to best focus my efforts in regards to helping with projects I'm all ears. I'm especially interested to know what languages/contribution aspects the masses would recommend. Currently I have only dabbled on Python and limited Powershell and Bash scripting but I'm open to learning new languages (Programming and actual).

Random fact/caveat if you reply back in another language I'll try to use a translator but I apologize in advance if something gets lost in translation. One of the few things we have going for us in 2020 is that language can be less of a barrier with tech!

@codeHaiku That's where I'm at with my phone. My laptop battery was bad enough to justify a #PBP but my phone's kicking along just fine.
