I haven't procurred a personal domain before but I can kind of see buying one waiting to begin a project idk.

I didn't realize they had it split out like that.
With the reserved is it at all cheaper if the spares are off/not utilized? or is it hte same rate for having it 'tapped'?

thats interesting, I saw they did that but I hadn't looked to far into it. I agree though Self-hosting has a lot of problems that can pop up...not to mention the internet pipe limitation.

Is this hosted on a VPS/cloud or what? Just curios if the cost is mainly internet throughput or actual infrastructure cost.

Finally! Some success at fixing discourse. The problem is one f the plugins, now I just need to figure out which one!
@Mundon Good point, I started messing with some VPN work but the people I was trying to bridge in lost interest. So I've fallen back on flashed routers and regular internet.
@Mundon it is if you pihole it or put in a VPN so you can play on the road..
But also homelab is life.

25 Years of Free Software
25 years ago on 24th July 1995 I released my first Free Software program called axdigi.
Time has gone quickly! A lot what was written has fallen away (I completely forgot I wrote ttylinkd for example).
I'm still writing Free Software or Open Source and still enjoy it.
@hansw not sure I follow doesn't Linux have a bunch of common files like that as libraries?
@Mundon gotcha sorry I think I've heard the term before but it did not ring any bells. Unfortunately from what I am aware of we're doing spreadsheets access or sharepoint
