@sambowne @potemkinvillage

I heard her say that on her podcast.

I agree more with Scott Galloway's view. Tesla depends on environmentally conscious consumers, and SpaceX depends on federal contracts.

Musk is pissing in his own well.

Maybe Fox News can survive on My Pillow ads. I do not see that demographic buying Teslas.

I think he is a Trump like man-baby playing the clown for attention.

@stephlamy

It seems more like what you would have expected from Zemmour. Are Macron's people still trying to get the far right vote?

@sambowne

Yes, they all do it. I am just amazed at how he paid over $40 bil for an app that he is turning into 8chan.

@sambowne

But, but, Elon said if you track people in real time you will be banned. So, he would not do it, would he?

That would be like the "free speech" absolutist banning people for speech he does not like. He would never do that, would he?

I am just soooooooo confused by this. It is almost as if Elon does the opposite of what he says. But, he is a genius playing n-dimensional go/chess/checkers/boxing, so it can not be.

@gcluley

How dud they do that? Did they use stressers? Or maybe DNA amplification?

@sambowne

But... I thought real time tracking violated terms of service?

Soo confused.

@stephlamy

This should be taken in the context of Justice Thomas saying he wants to overturn the right to use contraception

Elon falsely claimed @elonjet endangers his safety (ADS-B data is public record), promised not to ban them, then banned them. Anyway, they’re here now.

@lauren

You mean when the signal to noise ratio asymptotically approached zero?

The current state of #Mastodon does remind me much of the glory days of #Usenet so very long ago. But it's worth remembering that what ultimately "brought down" Usenet as an effective communication tool, was not the technical issues of communications between distributed hosts without any true centralization, but abuse problems caused by a percentage of users, which proved to be effectively intractable.

@dangillmor

If he wants to pay $40 bil. for 8chan, a fool and his money are soon parted. I now see Twitter as a honeypot for the mentally challenged.

Not a real danger, except for Tesla stockholders.

They should force him out of spacex, though.

Am shocked that someone as savvy as Donald Trump could be fooled. Also, you mean people can not trust Kid Rock fan sites for unbiased news?
