Big Journalism is still largely unwilling to call things what they are. Today's example is the Washington Post's use of "vaccine hesitancy" to describe a movement that is based on rejecting science and evidence in favor of dangerous and, increasingly, politically motivated lies.

The people who reject vaccines are attacking their communities. They spread disease and death. We should recognize this, and say it out loud.

Now he talks about software. I happen to know a lot about software and Elon Musk is saying the stupidest shit anyone's ever said, so when people say he's a genius I figured I should stay the hell away from his cars and rockets.

@rrb @carnage4life I think these are both true. AI code is crap because most code is crap, but also a lot of code is crap because people were relying on other people and not actually learning to code themselves

I am deeply concerned that wealthy individuals in the western world, like #Musk, will amass money and power enabling them to heavily influence society without democratic control.
This is highly dangerous as the case of Musk shows, who holds vast economic power, is influential on modern warfare via #Starlink and now gets huge influence in the information space. #twittertakeover.
