Best Walkman I had was a tape player, a few years ahead of the CD revolution. I actually went through a couple of tape players before I broke down and purchased the CD player version. The thing I disliked about the CD players was they weren’t as mobile, which was really the entire purpose of the device. Of course I jumped on the iPod bandwagon as soon as it came out.
