> 1. Do you block Threads?
I dont personally block threads, nor does the server. Right now we dont block too many servers. That said once we add the feature for users to opt-out of instance level server blocks then we might block threads by default.
> 2. Will you enable the possibilty to block instances peesonaly?
You already can, you can personally block any instance you want.
> 3. When will you enable the possibilty to edit send posts?
Yes this is one of the first and highest priority features.
Good news for #QOTO. We are now being funded by some donated resources, both money and developers. We will essentially have a full-time server administrator and a part-time developer to advance the QOTO software. They will be starting January 1st.
This should allow us to start adopting many of the features we have wanted to bring in that people have been requesting.
Just a reminder, it is perfectly ok to ridicule or insult an idea, just dont do it to people. But also the flip side to that, be ok with your ideas being mocked, but expect personal respect.
I run into this often, people think im rude cause I will call an idea idiotic and they say "ad hominem is weak, you just called me an idiot" to which I will often reply "No I didnt, I only pointed out you said an idiotic thing, I am sure you have some things to say that arent idiotic too"
WHEN LINUXGAL WAS A DUMMY
After playing with Lindows 4.5 for about a year with much frustration, 2005 rolled around. The local stores sold copies of Windows XP, but they were upgrades, and required a preexisting installation of Win98 or WinME before they would work. I still hadn't learned to burn my own Linux install disks from ISO's at that point. So I ordered a copy of SuSE Linux direct from Novell for $30 just to get something worth using.
Bless me Father, for I have paid for Linux.
The installation went without a hitch, and I quickly learned to use yast to add more software from the SuSE CD and even go online and grab software above and beyond what existed on my installation disk. By and large I was happy with it. The cool thing about SuSE was that I could install the OS on as many computers as I liked from now until doomsday (not realizing at the time that the product would start to date like cheese). But that was the last time I would ever shell out any money for Linux. #G21

Volgens minister Maarten v Ooijen betalen we per 1 jan. extra belasting over havermelk zonder suiker, niet over chocolademelk mét suiker, want “ons belastingstelsel” – #nosjournaal. Dat belastingstelsel dat ook al geen lage btw op groente aankan? Is dat stelsel heel toevallig ontworpen door de veesector? Of door artsen die niks te doen hebben?
