If you run Apache httpd, you do *not* have such. Since 2016, we have measures in place that limit clients in how they can pull our chains.

This attack pattern will waste cpu on your httpd, but it will *not* hit your backends.

In addition, nghttp2 will make a release that limits the cpu waste.

The bloodiest software design sins I've seen, by a wiiiiiide margin, were done in the name of avoiding repetition.

Außer bei PRO BAHN findet man den Landesnahverkehrsplan auch beim zuständigen Ministerium. Während es in Brandenburg eine klassische Öffentlichkeitsbeteiligung gab, hatten wir am 14.9. das Verfahren in Thüringen kritisiert. Dank "Frag den Staat" ...

For months I had noticed on a map this place in the middle of a forest marked "Memorial Stone".

So today I went to check it out.

But returned none the wiser. The large boulder, off any beaten track, carries only the mysterious inscription: "Bornellen Wiese 1833", which means "Bornellian Meadow 1833".

Search engines yield nothing.

The word 'Born' can mean a spring. There are moist meadows in the area - a glacier once ran through the area. But a date? For a meadow?

A mystery.
