A happy meet up where we approach reading and writing poetry with simplicity. I love facilitating these, especially for those who have an interest but don't know where to start.

This happens next weekend. Connect with me if you decide to come please!

Does #mythology interest you? I try to create a safe space around understanding and revisiting mythology and also break down the potentially misunderstood aspects of it.

This happens tomorrow at 2.30 pm. Please DM/engage with me if you decide to come.

Share if possible.

@shibaprasad

Awww thanks so much, thats the whole reason we do it! But lets not forget we would be nothing without users, people like you make this place what it is. Without that It would just be me and the other mods sitting around sharing cat memes :)

Dire Straits - Why Worry

«Baby I see this world has made you sad
Some people can be bad
The things they do, the things they say
But baby I'll wipe away those bitter tears
I'll chase away those restless fears
That turn your blue skies into grey»

Seems we have over 400 new users on #QOTO from the Indian Twitter Exodus in the last 24 hours, nearly 600 this week!

For everyone I havent gotten the chance to welcome yet, Hi, I have no doubt our new Indian friends will enrich our community in new ways that I for one am eagerly looking forward to.

A big welcome ❤️ to all the lovely people who have joined Mastodon to make a difference.

🇮🇳 #India, you rock.

Feel free to boost — to salute all new members.

I like to clarify why we don’t have a verification system like the #birdsite with the blue thingy next to your name.

On the #fediverse or at least #Mastodon we all are equal. No person is ‘higher in ranks’ or better than everyone else, our point is exactly the opposite. We want equality right?

We have plenty of methods to prove who you are on other platforms, we don’t need a badge for that 😉 Ofcourse you can use it however you like but this would be the reason, I’ll hope you’ll understand

What a peaceful life it is. No TV with Arnab shouting with politicians. No Twitter to make me go 'smh'. To all the #Indians here, please spend your day reading a book, watching Ted ed or Ted talks or just sleeping.

I don’t know what else I can not do to prove I don’t exist.

I am here just to have fun. Don't ask me complex questions.
