@smartbrain just had a closer look at the figures - while his take is true, it's true only for the month of April.

looking at the death rates in January it's very clear, even with room for inflated figures, that covid has far outpaced even a bad flu season.

I commend the guy's independence of mind and his broader outlook on the politics of healthcare but this video is very misleading.

can send detailed figures from ONS if you like; compare the reports on monthly deaths of Jan 2021 to monthly deaths of April 2021 if you'd like to check it out yourself.

I agree that vaccine politics are a trainwreck but two wrongs don't make a right, no matter how well intentioned.
