@midway season 1 was a little trashier imo, and season 3 was gorgeous visually and a little "out there" at times
season 2 was best in terms of structure/character arc, best of both

We take this situation in the Levant, and we make some good out of it. That guy we killed that they’re always on about? We can venerate him no different than we venerate the Sun and the Sea.
