Muck Zuckerberg is actually a midwit.
He could be any of my idiot burner friends I lost.
He's not intelligent, he doesn't actually know much, he may have read books, but didn't understand them, he's not a child of wonder that is forever questioning the world.

He's flat out stupid.
This softy interview is only furthering my opinion that we are experiencing more incompetency, not malice in most cases.

And i wish joe treated this dick like he treats his ACTUAL friend alex jones

I'm transfinancial. I'm a trillionaire now and if you try to stop me from buying things I "can't afford" then you're oppressing me with your social constructs.

@hankg from memorycraft by lynne kelly, one of the best books i've read on memory palaces and other systems of mnemonics

if we didn't have conspiracy wackos all we'd have is politicians and marketing

@FediThing @phryk are there any stand out text adventures that come to mind

@phryk

You can totally do things in visual or text ways, but the effects on the audience will be different depending on which you choose.

It's up to the artist to decide which effect is most appropriate.

In film-making the main rule is "show don't tell" but sometimes telling without showing works really really well:

If they'd done this scene as a flashback it would have been immensely expensive but also perhaps not as emotionally moving.

@hankg these were very common in the middle ages as a form of memory aid

Out of A/B test this is the new news cycle. Youtube removes rules barring "vax bad". They're all in!

@D00B Not sure what your line of work is.

But maybe my story can give you a chuckle or a laugh or a bit of hope.

-Be me.
-Be developer for Government
-Boss says "Trudeau says everyone has to get vaxxed, you got your vax yet?"
-Kinda scared "yeah in a couple of months."
-November 15 deadline rolls around, already seeing bad reports coming in.
-"Boss, I need you to sign this attestation that you got vaxxed."
-"Nyet"
-"Pourquoi?"
-"I'm not taking the vax"

But because I was critical on a highly specialized team, they kept me on for 3 more months.

-Contract terminated Feb 15, because vaxx enforcement kicked in.

-Right nice letter to everyone, "Luv ya guys, vaxx is not for me, stay based."

-During that time I am gone.

One supervisor when on long term disability :(

-One guy left to work for amazon (remote)

-sneaky bastard me was applying for other jobs back in october and was actually working a 2nd job since December, hehe.

-Another guys left for "reasons".

-Now the team is down to just big boss and team lead.

-Early this month they invited me to lunch.
-"Prod we love you and would have you back in heartbeat but you know Daddy Trudeau says you gotta be vaxxed."
-"I love you guys too, but nyet"
-"Get gift and free lunch, working remote and making more money than did in govt (working way harder for it though).

Stick your you principles, the money will follow if you work hard, network, and keep a calm mind.
