@skells
Personally I put myself somewhere in the middle. Medical intervention is sometimes necessary and private companies are even worse at providing for the common good than governments. We've seen what happens when intervention works out well, like preventing typhoid outbreaks, but also when it goes really, really wrong like eugenics and forced sterilization. We could all stand to be a little more practical and learn from history rather than reject differing opinions out of hand.

Anyway, after much rambling... My answer is no. The COVID-19 vaccine should not be legally required for anyone.

@skells @11112011 That is, prices adjust to account for the amount of coins in circulation rather than the amount in existence?

@Secftblgirl The political calculus is universally that the risk of getting booted out of office because X too many people suffered and died from the virus is greater than the risk of getting booted out of office because X too many people suffered and died from the vaccine, which pretty much holds for the executive suites of large corporations as well.

Should mass, beyond media silenceable complications from the vaccines begin erupting in the near enough future, entire political factions and companies could be plowed under.

The vaccination question is simple:

Is the government allowed to dictate medical intervention?

>How is this not the #1 story this morning? Japan Govt Pension cuts UST holdings to 35% of intl bonds...while INCREASING EU sovereigns?! Reminder: UST yields 1.25%, GY -0.46%, FR -0.12%, UK +0.55%. Dumping the Dollar.

Oddly enough, no one is yet condemning white liberals for shaming and smearing the largest cohort of the unvaccinated - black people.

The predominant attribute of establishment liberalism is authoritarianism, rooted in hubris and an overarching belief in one's own superiority that naturally entitles them to dictate the lives of inferiors for their own good.
