Bitcoiners should be careful not to let the failure of inflationary fiat result in #Bitcoin turning into nothing more than a new, non-inflationary* fiat.

This is a risk as people who don't necessarily care about decentralisation flock to Bitcoin for safety.

* for now (nothing prevents a non-inflationary fiat from adding inflation later)

and then, for no reason at all, people elected brandon to power

@skells @TheFuzzStone @bonifartius just to be clear, i'm not "recommending" ANY of those apps or protocols at all, altho i do use several of them myself at time. i'm just listing them as examples that may work better than signal for certain people in certain contexts. the same software that saves one activist or operator's life could get another killed (e.g. signal itself is probably fine if you're working with CIA-funded terrorists overseas to try and undermine the chinese government, less so if you're organizing protests of vax mandates in a blue state). you have to weigh the tradeoffs for each individual use case. infosec is nothing without opsec

the youtube channel of john campbell is really nice. he is rather good in explaining scientific stuff for the laymen while staying scientific and not falling down the common over-simplification trap (or notices if he does). the nice thing about this his approach of just explaining interesting papers is that, critics can't really argue that he's unscientific :)
