Another thing that happens with people who've studied a long time (too long?) is that they start writing everything in acadamese.
Long-winded sentences filled with unnecessary jargon designed to sound intelligent. The ultimate shame/fear of many academics is to be outed as stupid.
Funnily enough it's a sign of intelligence (and real understanding) to be able to convey a complex topic with simple direct language.

Also, human wellness isn't going to be dictated by pharma and "too big to fail" medical industrial complex much longer. If nothing else comes from this it should realize that we've been kept just well enough to keep paying medical bills for too long and we all need to take our health into our own hands instead of some fucking stooge in a lab coat. Real health comes from nutrition. Not drugs to combat the effect of the other drugs given to combat a shitty diet.

Breaking news: #BBC admits there’s no evidence of #antisemitism by #jeremycorbyn
Great! Now that he's no longer the Labour Party leader, no longer in the Labour party, and no longer able to deliver some meaningful change to the UK ... we can ... um? ...
Well, at least journalist are admitting they were wrong - about 5 years too late ...
Is there any built-in Mastodon way to find all your interactions with a given user? Like, find all their statuses I've liked or boosted, find replies I've seen to them or they've sent to me, basically give me a rundown of "Who the heck actually IS this person who's recently changed their name and profile pic?"
Boosts appreciated
