Pain. The code is pain.

Java code from 2003, mixing with ant and gradle, and itself is a huge and slow (need an hour to warm up) application.

Debug is pain.

Context: encrypted lease set is a feature in i2p, but nobody tested it. When I wanted to use, it's broken.

Want to set up an I2P eepsite for QOTO on my VPS in case I can't access it in a normal way.

Then I found out that QOTO used some other domains to handle CDN things, which, makes things worse because I hate configuring ngxin.

Then eventually I made an outproxy so I can use I2P to access any website, including QOTO.

And now my clientside I2P said cannot find leash set, and I have no idea why.

A lot of things happened in China recently, which were completely beyond my expectation. ​But it is worth noting that only the people in Sichuan are fighting for freedom, and the others are nothing more than survival.

​As for whether China will be the same as before when I wake up tomorrow, I don't know. But we (part of us) have seen the light, may we remember the warmth of the light and drive away the darkness.

​At least, those who collect firewood for everyone should not let them freeze to death in the wind and snow.

WHY IT STOP WORKING????????????????????????

While modding Minecraft 1.19.2 is pain, the pain mainly came from undocumented mojang's code, where you have to guess and validate your hypothesis before you write your code.

Modding Minecraft 1.8.9 is pain in the ass because of the barely working toolchains. Back then Minecraft's code is fairly easy to guess and work with. But the toolchain is unstable enough that literally several minutes ago it still launch Minecraft client properly. Then I close the game, made some change to the code, run the client again to test the change, and now it refuse to work. The runClient task finished successfully without launching the actual client and didn't give any error.

No matter how I cleared the cache, rebuild the project, it just refuses to work.

Just a random thought before sleeping.

If, let's say takazaruka fans, or Disney fans decided to host a instances and share screenshots and reviews on it, and secretly share copies to eachother, will the legal department take down their instance, or they take down any instance who has those timelines?

Well, if I were the instance owner, I definitely will use something like I2P to hide.

(Context: I'm kind of copyleft, where I think people have the right to redistribute the unmodified copies for non-commercial purposes. And I'm highly against taking down the z library.)
