Email mastodon+swiley@swiley.net (this makes all of my computers beep and turn on an indicator light and is always the fastest way to reach me.) I was on octodon a while ago but abandoned my account. I've never been a member of gab or parlor.
If you’d like to learn to program I would consider the SICP [1] more or less the peak of American CS pedagogy (at least as far as beginners go) along with “The Practice of Programming” once you get through that.
I play ukulele, I’m ok at reading music and decent at improv. I learned from Walter Piston’s “Harmony” and some of Adam Neely’s videos.
My main phone is a pine phone so if I don’t pick up when you call the battery is probably dead, the modem is probably dead, or I’m currently swearing at calls/pulseaudio/alsa. I’d strongly recommend sending an email instead.
Dispite what my web page says I’ve stopped uploading my scratch projects to GitHub once I started to understand the basics of collaboration with git. I was using the flamegraph as gamification/motivation but it doesn’t work as well with feature branch/squash merge workflows so I just keep most things on my VPS until I’m happy with publishing updates.

@enkiv2 Or perhaps there are legitimate problems? Also Tucker Carlson is moderate right not far right.
@icedquinn I can never figure out what to think about Cloudflare.

I love the masks, because it makes it easy to identify dangerous mental illness instantly and from a distance. It's even more effective than the purple hair and weird tattoos. If you see somebody in a mask, you're not even looking at a human being.
But guess what? I love the vaccines even more. Because vaccines kill commies dead.
Keep holding out. Look at the silver lining. Stop worrying and love the scamdemic.

I found my first attempt at doing a caroligian script from years ago. The words at the time were just random unrelated practice words, i wasnt even trying to form a sentence. Funnily enough it turns out to be rather relevant and true anyway these many years later.
@wolf480pl Yeah, twitch is pretty much the only way I make progress on my non-boat side projects nowadays.

NEW - The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will not enforce 29 CFR 1904's recording requirements to require employers to record worker side effects from #COVID19 vaccination.
@joedoudna On point with the political memes today.
This is the best political meme I've seen in a while.
