I went to #VinoKilo today, this international traveling #vintage clothes sale that advertises itself as fast-fashion free and high-end, and it felt like a bit of a scam: around 50% of clothes were made of acrylic or polyester, and around 5% did come from fast fashion brands. Finding a sweater *not* made of oil was a challenge. 😮‍💨

The hard part: “How can it break? How will it surprise us? How will it change? Does it •really• accomplish our goal? What •is• our goal? Are we all even imagining the same goal? Do we understand each other? Will the next person to work on this understand it? Should we even build this?”

Protip: Even worse than generic non-descriptive variable names are misleading variable names.

On an epic photo meetup at the beach, someone brought and handed out little plastic dinosaurs (I still have mine in my camera bag). Below you'll see the group of dinos at the water hole as well as the silly number of people holding cameras. I'm still amazed I could get the shot without any photographers in it!
