People who want to limit voting on college campuses- or limit voting anywhere, really- should be made uncomfortable at every opportunity. They shouldn't be able to walk down the sidewalk in peace.

I know a certain accounting firm that used a stack of 7 USB sticks to do daily backups.

Finally, one day I asked if they'd ever looked at those sticks to make sure their backups were valid.

They finally did, and they weren't - they had no backups. All of their sticks had corrupted, accepted writes and saved garbage - day after day after day.

CHECK your backups! Many USB sticks (not all!) are NOT what I'd call reliable.

On April 18 at least six police officers from the National Operations Department (NOA) of the Swedish Police visited the Mullvad VPN office in Gothenburg with a search warrant.

They left without taking anything and without any customer information.

If you ever pull up OpenStreetMap and notice that it has stale/bad data for an area, I now have firsthand experience with the knowledge of at least two reasons why:

1. The community includes the sort of people who'd rather have an incorrect map than an organized queue of issues that need to be addressed while working through them—the type of person for whom a thousand tickets marked "resolved" without the underlying issue being actually resolved is preferable because it gives a clean dashboard.
