I''ve come to the conclusion that if I wait for things to be organized such that it fits with family life, I will bever be able to join in. So I do what I can. And sometimes that is a lot. Sometimes not.

Woman: Turns out there was one more.

Woman in a cafe with a puppy (to a mum with a baby who is staring at the puppy): Would she like to stroke the dog?
Mum: Yes I think so.
The baby stokes the dog.
Mum: She loves dogs.
Then the baby strokes the woman's boob.
Mum: Sorry! She loves boobs too.
Woman: It's ok. So do I.

Wait HECK the reason why that circa 2000 ISO software for like Windows ME or whatever was named "Nero" is because it burns discs. It is burning ROM. I only just now figured that out. This is so upsetting

Selyverstov remembers one incident he calls, the "silliest, biggest performance" that the Russians ever did, ahead of a delegation visit by the International Atomic Energy Agency.

He claims he saw Russians walking around with the wreckage of a missile, trying to find a good place to plant it. And when they did plant it, he said, they accidentally placed it in such a way that it suggested it came from territory that Russians controlled.

Imperial units are a pain all round, but I cannot even begin to describe how maddening “thousandths of an inch” are. OH LOOK.. AREN’T DECIMALS USEFUL? I suppose that some other weird subdivision of an inch would be worse, but really, if you can cope with thousandths of an inch, what’s so hard about a centimetre? #units #rant

One of my favorite floats at the #PrideParade was IKEA’s. They have a good sense of humor.
