So climate activism supposedly undermines acceptance of climate protection measures. Really? Not decades of disinformation and denial of climate science? Not continuous inaction on unfolding climate catastrophe? Not sabotaging any onset of those measures?

The German Minister for Justice suggests that civil disobedience disruption of air traffic could lead to millions of euros in liability for the protesters.

Possibly. But will his government commit to Germany being liable for damages caused to others by climate heating to the extent that Germany exceeds its fair share of emissions?

Dr. Gladys West grew up in 1930s VA. She had limited opportunities as a black girl in the south, but went on to become a mathematician.

In the 1950s, West helped program the Naval Ordinance Research Calculator. Later, she worked on modeling the shape of the Earth & helped develop satellite geodesy models, a foundation of GPS.

Another big tree cut down on UC Davis property. UC Davis has cut down *so many* trees since I arrived here and at least 2/3 of the time I can't see a structural/disease reason why that would have been a good idea.

I see far fewer trees actually planted.

Given UC Davis is supposed to be the leading hort/ag university in the US, if not the world, it does a piss-poor job of communicating its tree strategy. #ClimateEmergency

I2P transports and network design have been in development for over 20 years. What the architecture needs now is for people to create familiar usable applications for people so that they can communicate and publish on the network.

I tried twice to contact California Office of Emergency Services about the inaccessibility of the new site Heatready.gov and what it links to. No way to talk to a human and no email addresses to write.

So I made a @resistbot petition that you can sign, too. It is crucial emergency information be communicated accessibly!
