I went to my optometrist this morning. They don't require customers to mask anymore, but were happy to have all their staff wear masks, including receptionists.
After my appointment finished, I noticed that all the waiting patients had masks as well, which I originally thought was just good luck. However, the receptionist told me that every customer had entered without a mask, and within a few minutes they all either put on their own mask or asked for one from the receptionist, noticing that they were the odd one out.
This experience powerfully showed me that for many, the decision to mask or not is heavily influenced by peer pressure.
Praca - prolog
No dobra, to chyba będzie mikropowieść w odcinkach, żebyście mogli sobie dawkować i nie umrzeć z nudów. Albo z zażenowania :D
Prolog.
Sexual violence, Politics
Good lord, if I'm reading a few sources correctly, then I just learned that in 1997 when the German Parliament voted on whether raping your wife should be treated equivalently to raping another woman, one of the 138 representatives that voted against it was the sitting Minister for Health.

@grayrattus note that in the case study they discuss the autopsy of the fetus, but not the medical outcomes of the woman. We know she was interrogated and searched, but we don't know if she survived, and if she did how long was her recovery.
That whole paragraph about how it's about safety of abortions for women is nothing but a fig leaf.
