Hi folks, this is my #introductions

I have been baking #sourdough loaves for myself and friends since 2011 and have been selling very small quantities for the last year to pay for the ingredients.

I have learnt a few tricks that make sourdough #bread fun and simple, so feel free to ask.

I hope to post new and old pics of my loaves on a semi regular basis 🙂

These are from the day I had an order for 11 loaves for an event. That was a fun challenge baking in my tiny oven using the three large loaf tins!

Aside from bread, a love #origami (nice solid shapes from a flat sheet of paper is so much fun)

Also I do a bit of coding. Back in 2004 I wrote a little thing called cow (creative object world). One day I will finish re writing it in node.js and open it to the world again.

1. The US locks up more people than any other nation.

2. Most of these people are innocent. I didn't say "not guilty." I said "innocent." As in, under normal circumstances, there would not even be enough evidence to even charge these people with a crime. The only reason they're charged, is because the DA knows that they can't afford bail, and people that can't afford bail will confess to crimes that they didn't do. Happens every day.

3. People caught in this trap are disproportionately Black

I can’t stop thinking about the Afghan girls Robotic team knows as Afghan Dreamers. The girls with minimal resources were able to design and build low cost ventilators and their expertise were used during Covid crisis. Roya, a member of Afghan dreamers was ranked among Time’s 100 most influential people for her work in building internet classrooms in Afghan high schools.
