10 January 1861 | A Dutch Jewish woman, Geertje Polak-Hoogstraal, was born in Appingedam.

In October 1942 she was deported to Auschwitz together with her husband Salomon. After selection they were both murdered in a gas chamber.

Kolejny miesiąc z linuksem :P

Przesiadłem się na Manjaro i wszystko zaczęło nagle działać lepiej niż na Windowsie - chyba nie wchodziłem do konsoli i wszystko ogarniałem z poziomu zarządzacza inerfejsu - KDE Plasma, które okazało się dla mnie nieporównywalnie lepsze niż GNOME ;]

Eksperci mi pisza, że organizacja zarządzająca Manjaro ma swoje za uszami, ale jeszcze nie zrozumiałem co tam złego się dzieje - jak miałbym polecać coś instalować, to właśnie tę dystrybucje.

Oprócz tego same dobre wieści:
- Uncharted 4 chodzi już bez żadnych kombinacji
- ruszył ray tracing w Callisto Protocol
- Star Citizen śmiga jak na swoje możliwości

Oprócz tego lepszy sen :P

Jedyne minusy obecnie - brak VR-u. Nadal nie udało się odpalić eksperymentalnego ALVR. Będę musiał więcej spamować gościa od VR Desktop, by coś zrobił.

My name is John Butler.
I'm Maths/Stats Lecturer and Neuroscience researcher in the School of Mathematics and Statistics in TU Dublin since 2015.

My research uses computational neuroscience methods to investigate multisensory processing. My favourite sensory system is the vestibular system it is just great.

I am a member of @neuromatch I’ve contributed materials to the summer schools. I also help organise the Conference and I’m particularly proud of the introduction of Neuromatch for Kids which shows how maths and neuroscience work together.

I really enjoy teaching, I've taught mathematics, statistics and computational neuro to all levels from graduate, down to primary. Here are two modules:
