A female otter giving us one of those looks that shows some displeasure. Thankfully the breeze was in our favour and as we stayed dead still, she chose to ignore us, and returned to the water to continue hunting, with her two cubs.

This adorable little bean appeared at the Texas Observer office today, rescued by Staff Reporter Michelle Pitcher. We are calling them Mister Stinky (until we can get them checked for a chip anyways).

I'm not doing this anymore. It's not worth it. Personal attacks calling me of all people a Nazi, a TERF, an antisemite...

Congrats on destroying something I cared so deeply about. I hope you're happy.

One last message before anyone tries to further assassinate my character:

Fuck Nazis.
Fuck TERFs.
J.K. Rowling can die in a fire for all I care.

I'm just gonna say this: If you are writing an email to any femme-presenting person you don't know and address her as "Young Lady"...

...Just go back and delete it and don't.

Here is the price of light over the very long run. One innovation after the next drove down the price of having light at night.

Trzeba się trochę przyzwyczaić, może coś poprawić, ale to imo bardzo dobrze. Sam na blogasku #m0biOFedi od początku stosuję język neutralny płciowo -> https://zb3.org/m0bi13/

Komu to będzie przeszkadzać?
Macie typy?😉

If you've been waiting for full-text #search on #Mastodon, please go to #TootFinder and sign in. The more the merrier.
https://www.tootfinder.ch/

It's opt-in, not opt-out. It respects Mastodon culture and doesn't index accounts that don't sign in.

That means the index might be small if we don't spread the word.

#Wyoming!
“After the consequential #floods in the spring of 2015, Coffman says, “We came to the observation that there were some serious benefits to having #beaver dams and beavers in place.” This beaver complex serves as a model for the conditions that he hopes to restore several streams to. Across an increasingly parched and degraded West, land managers and researchers seeking effective and efficient water management solutions may benefit from the same realization. Perhaps, it’s time to end recent antagonism against #beavers and instead form an alliance with nature’s most effective, once prolific waterway engineers.”
