Add to this how it took journalists years to even take Twitter seriously and you have a conservative profession, under extreme stress, clinging to a dying platform because of a dying business model, even though staying on that platform makes all of this worse.

Eventually many journalists will leave Twitter, but not under circumstances of their own choosing.
