#today spent most of my time hauling water for the veggies. All of the storms that blew through yesterday missed us completely so we are getting seriously dry again. Everything is holding up pretty well, so far. Also had time to "hill up" the first planting of sweet corn and the second planting will be ready to go out in a day or two.

Letztes Jahr hat die Vogelgrippe oder welcher biologische Sinn der Natur auch immer dahinter steckt, die Kolonie der #Basstölpel auf #Helgoland zu hunderten in den Tod gerissen. Ein grausamer Anblick, den man nicht mehr vergisst.
Dieses Jahr sind sie trotzdem wieder zum Brüten hier her gekommen! Nicht so viele wie davor die Jahre, aber es ist eine wahre Wonne zu sehen, wie neue Pärchen sich finden, neue Nester gebaut werden und neue Familien entstehen. Die #Natur findet immer einen Weg.

Last year bird flu, or whatever biological sense of nature is behind it, killed the colony of #Gannets on Helgoland by the hundreds. It's a gruesome sight to behold and one you'll never forget.
This year they still came here again to breed! Of course not as many as before the years, but it is a real delight to see how new couples find each other, new nests are built and new families are created. Nature always finds a way.

Drogi mastodonie. Potrzebne wsparcie w dziedzinie elektryki/elektroniki, a konkretnie najpewniej diod montowanych w panelach fotowoltaicznych - mój panelik 110W przestał działać. Wobec ewidentnego częściowego zacienienia panelu podejrzewam że winna jest dioda bypass w skrzynce z tyłu panelu. Pytanie: czy wystarczy wymiana diody? Oraz: jaka to właściwie dioda? Gdzie toto kupic? Dorzucam zdjęcie specyfikacji panelu.

Są takie dni, kiedy odkrywasz naprawdę tragiczny #interfejs użytkownika.

Dziś musiałem po raz pierwszy kupić sieciówkę bez zniżki (Wielkopolska nie honoruje nowych RegioKart). Znalezienie właściwej oferty zajęło kasjerce 10 minut.

Widziałem interfejs terminala kasy i to po prostu koszmar. Dostajesz listę kilkuset ofert, opisanych trzycyfrowymi kodami i 2-3 słownymi opisami, które dodatkowo się powtarzają. Było z 10 różnych ofert opisanych wyłącznie słowami "bilet sieciowy", plus kilka "sieciowy imienny". Kasjerka musiała je wybierać po kolei i patrzeć, co się stanie.

Do tego wszystkiego to ekran dotykowy. Więc wstecz, przewijanie palcem całej listy od początku i próbujemy następną opcję.
