Yeah, I can deal with it by just setting my locale to be UK instead of US, and since I’m ok with 24-hour time anyway, that works well for me.

I just want to save everybody else from this insanity. Who is with me?

So to prepare for that inevitable day, I would strongly suggest that any calendaring app writer already make “Monday is the first day of the week” an option. You know it’s what most people think anyway.

Kudos to Google Calendar for getting this right when so few others do (eg the “snooze until” calendar in gmail does not 😒).

There is an unbelievable number of cis het men who are #Christian pastors who have been indicted for child molestation or sexual assault. And that's not including priests of the Catholic church.

It is dumbfounding to me that the American public is unable to see this very stark, clear pattern.

I warned people years ago in my Tedx talk. There will be climate-change related FAMINES in places that never knew them before.

I often wish our children could vote bc today’s policies define their future health, safety & well-being in a rapidly changing world.

And most of the folks with power to make decisions at the national level won’t be part of that future, so for them, short-term choices are more personal than long-term hypotheticals.

But our kids can’t vote. So it’s on us to be their voice in the years to come.
