When I was a child and a teen,
I was called a monster, an alien, and a weirdo by strangers.

At an age when I needed so much to belong, these words hurt more than swords.

It tuned me down overtime. It desaturated my personality. I learned that I could not both be myself and be accepted.

Now that I am older, I am trying to find back who I really was meant to be. Being myself isn’t just an instinct, it is a vital need. I cannot be with people whom I cannot be myself with anymore. It has become unbearable.

I know many of you here have had similar experiences and much worse.

I just wanted to tell you that
I see you
and you are not alone

This is a communal orchard around here - the yellow ribbon means that picking fruit is free. Besides apple trees I found pear, cherry, plum, mirabelle and chestnut trees. The location of the trees was published on https://mundraub.org - that's how we found them.

Nie jestem anglojęzyczna (szok, c'nie?). I dlatego na #Mastodon mam problem. W TT jest automatyczne tłumaczenie tweetów. Dało mi to szansę śledzenia kont w tym języku. A tu - kiszka. Nie umiem sobie poradzić. Czytam Masto w komórce. Mam appkę Mastodon i w niej nie ma takiej opcji. Nie widzę też wpisów znajomych, którzy mają konta w innych instancjach. Albo są nieaktywni, albo coś robię nie tak. Może powinnam przenieść konto na inną instancję? 🧑‍🦳🤔

Is there anything I can do against my smoothie's tendency to separate into juice below and semi-solid foam gunk above? Especially milk-based smoothies (as opposed to juice-based).

I just toss all the ingredients and the liquid base into the blender and run it at top speed until it seems sufficiently mixed. Anything I should change about that?

My smoothies usually contain some mixture of banana, raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, and blackberry, on a base of either milk or orange juice. Sometimes slight seasoning (some sugar, some cocoa, some coffee, some honey, whatever I feel like). Are any of these ingredients particularly foam-causing?
