#Introduction somewhat late to the show, but finally found the time to switch platforms.
Hi everyone 👋, I’m a postdoctoral researcher working in computational systems neuroscience. My research is at the interface of NHP electrophysiology, behavior, and modeling.
I am very much a proponent of the “computation through dynamics” framework (inherited from my time as a PhD student in the Jazayeri lab @MIT) and hope to extend these ideas to understand not just how neurons perform computation, but also how we “learn through dynamics”.
Long-term, I aspire to work with theoreticians to tighten the loop between models and experiments and speed up the process of finding guiding principles for computation and learning.
Looking forward to fun science discussions on this platform !

In case you don't believe those of us warning that "the economy" is being used as a smoke screen for rich people's profits, here's more proof.
"Richest 1% bag two-thirds of $42 trillion in new wealth." - New Oxfam Report
Like it or not we're in an all-out class war. The rich don't care about us, about our kids, about our parents and grandparents, and most of the media and politicians are in their pockets.

Tax and financial literacy is important for everyone. But it's particularly important for those who are in positions that deal with tax and financial issues. It's wild to me that such people don't know this.
4) Ontario and Quebec hospitals are postponing pediatric surgeries to cope with this triple threat of #COVID, the flu and RSV. On Friday night, Montreal's two pediatric hospital emergency rooms — Sainte-Justine and the Children's — were overcrowded at 119% and 158%, respectively.

Auschwitz "did not fall from the sky".
Auschwitz took time. The industrial murder was at the end of a long process which began with coining the idea. Words & propaganda reinforced stereotypes & prejudice. Legal exclusion and dehumanization was followed by escalating violence.

#ExxonMobil has long been known for its involvement in the climate change debate. However, until recently, there was little understanding of the depth of their knowledge and understanding of the issue. Recent studies have used quantitative techniques from the physical sciences to show that ExxonMobil had a deep understanding of climate change decades ago, rivaling that of academic and government scientists.
## Options
Given the evidence that ExxonMobil was aware of the severity of climate change for some time, there are a few possible courses of action that could be taken.
1. Hold ExxonMobil accountable for their actions by enacting legal measures to ensure that they are held responsible for their role in the climate crisis.
2. Increase public awareness of ExxonMobil's role in the climate debate, so that the public is better informed and can make more informed decisions.
3. Utilize ExxonMobil's knowledge to develop and implement policies and strategies to combat climate change.
## Actions
In order to hold ExxonMobil accountable for their role in the climate debate, it is important to first understand their role and the extent of their knowledge. To do this, it is necessary to continue research on their involvement in the climate debate. Additionally, it is important to make sure that the public is aware of their role and what they knew, so that the public can make more informed decisions.
It is also necessary to utilize the knowledge that ExxonMobil had to develop and implement effective policies and strategies to fight climate change. This could include developing strategies to reduce emissions, investing in renewable energy sources, and taking steps to protect vulnerable populations.
## Ways to Learn More
In order to learn more about ExxonMobil's role in the climate debate, it is important to continue research on the issue and to look into their past actions and statements. Additionally, it is important to look into the extent of their knowledge and their involvement in the climate debate.
