@freemo Thankfully the users have the tools to block that whole domain for themselves. Which I've utilized ages ago, that site's just a cesspool.

@dosnostalgic Nice subtletly with the moon filling/emptying there. Guess that's the HP?

@Pat Simply put, I wouldn't know how to pronounce 90% of the English words. So, if they can sound similar while having very different spellings, or sound very different while having similar spellings, it's near impossible for me to make an English poem.

@freemo He probably worded it poorly and it meant that it's going to be $0 for everyone (under $400k) without having to raise the taxes. That's how I interpret it as, because otherwise it'd make not much sense with the taxation.

@freemo Your mother was a hamster and your father smells of elderberries!

If you paint a donkey with zebra's colors, will it become a zebra or still remains a donkey?

@Infoseepage Yeah, that's the conclusion we're getting to as well. The model is A1342, and we seem to have found adapters as cheap as 24,95 euro. That might be doable for fiddling around.

@freemo Damn, this is exactly the kind of stuff I want... for half its current price. :P

@Pat My annoyance with the English language is that it's bloody hard to figure out as a non-English deaf person which words rhyme with which because it can be spelled totally different and yet sound similar.

@freemo I gather that's much more than just Mastodon and Fediverse-related things?

Thanks for hosting our insanity. :)

Buddy works at a recycling center and found a MacBook from 2009. Apparently it needs to be charged with a MagSafe thingy. Are there alternatives to that since he doesn't have this MagSafe thingy? Ordering a $80 one from Apple seems a bit excessive for an ancient MacBook that might or might not work.

@Pat Well, I did a li'l searching around to see what it was before I asked.. and then I'd have commented afterwards that it's probably one of the worst names you could think of for a piece of software. :D

Glad to read it doesn't exist, because it's still one of the worst names anybody could think of. ;)
