@tripu The sad thing is that other oscar winners get completely overshadowed by this incident... It's all talk about the slap and nothing else. That's kinda a slap in the face of those others too.

@Sphinx Wow, are you a psychic?! 😂

@Sphinx Of course. Sometimes earlier, sometimes later, but there's always someone around!

@JonathanMBR Did many African-Americans make use of this offer?

@JonathanMBR Looks neat. A dog with a mohawk. :)

@academicalnerd Bleh, hate colds with a passion. Get well soon!

@JonathanMBR What's the cause?

@meet_judith They indeed are very beautiful. I biked past plenty of magnolia trees on the way home. They were all pinkish-white.

Ugghhkk... that was painful. Banged my head against the edge of the digiboard. :P

We're removing the excess cabling from that thing in this room. It's ridiculous how many cables there were.. I mean, it's like they wanted to pull this throughout the whole of this school or something. We've replaced them with more sane-length ones now.

At least we're not running short on cables now. :P
#Work

I think summertime's doing me in today. I'm so tired and so slow.

Probably doesn't help either that I played a horror puzzle game until just before bedtime... :P

@Erik I'm absolutely not disagreeing with you there. So many things went pretty fubar.

The only silver lining is that we're accelerating our durable energy source stuffs. However it still will cost some time before we're independent.

@aral

@Amikke Huh, didn't know there's a movie out of it. I mean, I know this as a novel, have read one chapter of it but got a bit bored.

@aral Hah, yes. Never made sense to me.. why the fuck even bother with implanting chips that's got limited reach and usability if almost the whole world wants to use smartphones.. :P

@hankg Damn, I feel old now.

@Pat Yes, that one. *Leans to the right to will it into that direction*

Guy: "You gotta move to the right. More to the right."

Tommy: "Would you sit your ass down?"

Guy: "Hit parallel."

Tommy: "Move! You wanna drive this thing?"

*SCRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPE*

Ye gods, that was a painful scene lol.

@fraggle I'm not a parent but even I saw that detail. :P

@Pat In Galaxy Quest it was the 'pedal on the metal' black pilot, who was a tiny kid when the "original Galaxy Quest" (in the movie) aired.

Mind you, Galaxy Quest is one of my favorite scifi movies... it's just so perfectly executed.

@lydiaconwell u wot m8?

@Amikke Aah! Yeah, that would be a cool feature. I think only Misskey and Pleroma have that?
